Single Review: Johnny Day ft. Zack Dyer - “Every Beer Every Bar”
“This is a catchy, hooky, sing-along tune that the listener will appreciate immediately. Dyer’s vocals flow effortlessly alongside Day’s, and the rock influence on this track is adequately intertwined alongside the stereotypical country twang we come to expect from a modern release. While the subject matter is somber, this is a fun song to dance to, sing along to, or sit back and jam to while on the open road.”

Rising country artist Johnny Day teams with singer-songwriter Zack Dyer for "Every Beer Every Bar," a rowdy tune about attempting to drown a heartache during a night out on the town.
Music Spotlight: Johnny Day
As much as I may like an artist’s music, their story often intrigues me more. When I heard that Johnny Day recently left a job working in the Colorado oil fields to move to Nashville, I wanted to learn more.
Day got interested in music when his elementary school class went on a field trip to see an orchestra. As a child, he had never seen anything like it.
Greeley Tribune: From the oilfields to the country music stage, Kersey’s Johnny Day making a name for himself in Nashville
Nearly 15 years ago a kid from Kersey came face-to-face with the inspiration that caused a fire in his belly and a passion in his heart.
Standing alongside hundreds of other country music fans, a young Johnny Day stood in the Greeley Stampede Arena as a then up-and-coming Brad Paisley took the stage and wowed the crowd with his guitar playing and singing.
“I had never seen anything like it in my life. He was sitting up there ripping it up, singing and playing,” Day said. “I was hell bent on getting me a telecaster like Brad Paisley’s and getting the same amp he had.”

Daily Reuters: Johnny Day: Up and Coming Country Star with a 1,200 mile Commute
Johnny Day, a promising Nashville-based country artist, doesn’t exactly have your “typical” 9-5 work week. Flying back and forth between Nashville and rural Northern Colorado, Day commutes bi-weekly between the oil fields of the great plains and the Mecca of Country Music. While this commute may not be the standard for most musicians in Nashville, Day has made it work to support his up and coming music career as well as his wife and two daughters.
Single Review: Wild
Whenever a new artist breaks into the country music scene, there must be something about their music to instantly catch the listener’s ear and make them want to continue listening; whether it be a catchy melody, a great voice, or outstanding lyrics that invoke some sort of emotion.
The Fence Post: A bright new Day in country music
A bright, new Day is dawning on the Nashville music scene. To be specific, Johnny Day, an up-and-coming country singer/songwriter.
Born Jonathan Earl Lane Day in December 1993 to Donnie Day and Holly Hardin, Johnny and sisters Sydney and Samantha grew up country kids on Colorado’s Eastern Plains. There the family owned good using horses. Day also enjoyed lots of summer months and other visits to his maternal grandfather John Hardin’s 2,000-acre cattle ranch in Sedalia, Mo.
A 2012 graduate of Platte Valley High School, the Kersey, Colo., native next spent a few semesters in a community college but quickly chose music over any other career path.
